October is such a great month! Fall weather is upon us and, because we wrap this month up with Halloween, it is full of all kinds of fun treats to eat! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately… it all depends on how you look at it! HA!), that means there is a lot of candy and other “not quite as healthy” foods around much of the month.
I’ve learned, though, that we can have lots of treats around our house that are also healthy and good for us. In the spirit of full disclosure, we do still keep some of the “sweet treats” around, but not as much. I believe it’s all about balance. Balance out the candy treats with the healthy treats!
Here are a few of my favorite Healthy Halloween Snacks. These are always a lot of fun to make and a great way to have some Halloween fun as a family. What kids wouldn’t enjoy not only eating these, but also being a part of the creation process, too?!
