This is the time of year when I’m ready for the temperatures to drop and for the evenings to get a little cooler. However, I’m a little picky because I don’t want it to be winter yet and I still really like alot of things about summer. I guess you could say I want my cake and I want to eat it, too! HA! 🙂
So, as I pondered this, I realized I could maybe combine my love of summer with my love of cooler temps and the great things that come along with those cooler temps. That got me to this post with some of my favorite Etsy finds that are all about….
Are you ready??
Butterflies and Autumn!!
Yep, I’ve combined my favorite spring and summer butterflies with all the colors of autumn!
I think this butterfly mobile is just great! Autumn colors, beautiful butterflies… couldn’t you just see it hanging in an all-weather covered porch, or close to a window that looks out on the trees as the leaves are starting to fall in a month or so? You can find this mobile at Graceline Paper Studios.
The colors in this oil painting just make me happy. So full of every color that makes autumn so wonderful, but also catches that wonderful summer butterfly! This oil painting can be found at Carmens Art.
These beautiful autumn butterflies make me want to start scrapbooking. I can just imagine them adorning pages with pictures of fall family activities… pumpkin patches, football games, and so much more! These scrapbooking butterflies are found at Angelica’s Little Scrap Shop.
These are note cards that have all those colors found in autumn, but with that background in the greens and whites could even pass for summertime. What a perfect combination. If you just can’t wait to send a note to a friend on one of these note cards, you can find them at Eye Luv Photography.
And, lastly (but my no means least!!), are these gorgeous earrings. Wouldn’t these look great worn during this time of year as we move from summer to autumn? Just love them! If you do, too, you can find these butterfly earrings at Blue Gypsy Jewels.
What do you enjoy shopping for most during this time of year as we move from the greens of summertime into the darker colors of autumn?
