From personal experience, I know that having one place to go to find the answers to your questions is so helpful. With that in mind, I’ve started this FAQ series of posts on the Beads-N-Style blog to give you that one location.
The first post in this series answered a couple of questions. We talked about the number of magnetic bracelets that can be worn at one time and also how to determine the correct bracelet length when placing your order.
In this second post of the FAQ series, let’s talk about how to care for and clean your magnetic jewelry. Here are some tips to keep your magnetic hematite jewelry clean and to ensure it looks great for many years:
* Always remove your magnetic jewelry before showering, bathing, or swimming. When worn during these type of activities, the water can get inside the beads where it will become trapped and, over time, could damage the beads and the cording used for stringing the beads. Salt water and chlorine will also damage the magnetic hematite beads.
* Do not put magnetic hematite jewelry in any type of jewelry cleaner or jewelry cleaning machines.
* Always use a damp cloth using a mild soap, a rinse cloth to wipe off the soap, and then wipe the beads dry.
Do you have any questions about wearing magnetic jewelry? If so, feel free to leave any questions in the comments and I’ll answer each one.
Have a great day!
